Dual Pleated Blind & Flyscreen
Dual Pleated blinds and fly screens offer fantastic flexiblity, they are both a blockout blind and a flyscreen. (Or neither).
Draw the pleated blockout fabric to the top to fully close the blind or move it to the bottom and draw down the flyscreen, this will allow light to pass into the cabin but helps prevent flys and insects from entering. Both the blind and the flyscreen are encased in a cassette frame which makes them very easy to install, only using four screws, one in each corner.
There are four frame colours, Black; White; Cream and Grey.
The flyscreens are all in black.
The pleated fabic in the Black frame is Dark grey
The pleated fabic in the White frame is White
The pleated fabic in the Cream frame is Cream
The pleated fabic in the Grey frame is Grey
Instructions are in the pictures for these blinds
Please note!
The 'block out' pleated fabric of the blinds will have punch holes for the operating cords to pass through (the wider the blind, the more punch holes), these will allow some light to pass through.
To aquire a price, choose from the dropdown size and colour menu's. Choose the size that is the next size up from what you require. For example- you have measured your window width as 89cm and a drop of 62cm, choose from the drop down menu Upto 90cm x 65cm. Then choose the colour from the colour menu and the cost of this blind will be shown.
When you have got your price and wish to proceed enter the sizes you actually require in the
" Record the width and Record the drop boxes"
Please be aware - the surounding frame of the blind is 42.5mm wide all the way round, so the finished size of the blind will be approximately 85mm wider and the drop will be approximately 85mm greater than the sizes you provide.
(See picture in the photos section for these blinds ).
Skylights
If you intend to use the Dual blind as a Skylight blind, please inform us via email sales@blindsforboats.co.uk when you have ordered the blind, along with your order number. We will manufacture the blind with the narrow side as the width and the long side as the drop. This makes the blind operate better and also there will be fewer punch holes in the pleated fabric which will allow light through. Please see the picture in the description.
For example: your skylight size is 90cm wide and 140cm long, as there isn't an option for size, order the blind from the drop down menu, next size up, 150cm x 100cm and enter your width as 90cm and the drop as 140cm, this blind will cost £310.00
Delivery time: is approximately 4 weeks from receiving the order.
**If you require a Dual blind which is out side these parameters please email sales@blindsforboats.co.uk with your sizes and we will provide you with a quotation.**
